Mayor Curtis J. Cornelious has lived in Little Elm since October 2004, with his wife of over 19 great years, Charlet, and their three children Stephanie, Christian, and Collyn. He has a double degree in Chemistry and Agriculture from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
He has always been involved in his community through different organizations, including coaching football and basketball, Boy Scouts, and his church, where he served as a Deacon.
He served two terms on Town Council representing District 3, two terms as an at-large representative and served five years as Mayor Pro Tem. He also served as a Board Director for the Economic Development Corporation for four years. He served(s) on numerous boards around the county.
