Assistant to the Town Manager Caitlan Biggs presented proposed pilot alternate work schedule of Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to provide additional customer service hours and increase awareness and use of available online services. Council approved the proposed pilot program the Town of Little Elm to run between January to June 2019.
• Mayor David Hillock presented the 2017 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) Award to the Finance Department. The Finance Department has earned this award for the last eight years.
• Mayor David Hillock presented a proclamation recognizing Chad Lacerte for his work in the Little Elm Community on behalf of the Little Elm Area Foodbank and the Friends of the Library.
Public Hearing: on request to rezone approximately 22.254 acres of land from Light Commercial to Planned Development-Single Family generally located at the northeast corner of Witt Road and King Road, was presented by Planning and Community Services Manager Skye Thibodeaux.
Public Hearing: on request to rezone approximately 5.1107 acres of land from Light Commercial to Planned Development-Light Commercial to allow for the use of retail, restaurant, and medical office, generally located on the southeast corner of Smotherman Road and FM 423, was presented by Planning and Community Services Manager Skye Thibodeaux.
