The Big Easy is rolling into Little Elm on March 2! Join the Town of Little Elm and Dallas Athletes Racing for crawfish, gumbo, and other Cajun favorites, live music, a one-mile fun run, a 5K, and 10K!
The event is open to all ages, however, all runners 21 and over that run the 5K or 10K will receive two beer tickets with their registration. Runners and teams or "Krewes" are encouraged to dress up. Prizes will be awarded for best-dressed male and female runner and best Krewe.
But, you don't have to run to be part of the fun! Come out and join for food, live music from Raa-Raa and Da Zydeco Allstarz, and more! This event is family friendly, so bring the kids, too!
"We work to provide a fun experience for the whole family," said Town of Little Special Events Manager Alicia Gray.
A parking fee of $10 will be charged for the Big Easy for those not participating in the run or riding to the event with someone who is participating in the run. Runners must show bib or confirmation of registration to parking attendants.
The fee is not a “come and go” charge, and will apply each time you enter the park.
Parking fees begin at 4 p.m. and go until 9 p.m
