It's the most wonderful time of the year, and once again, it is time for the Little Elm Christmas Parade and Annual Tree Lighting!
The Town of Little Elm's Annual Christmas tree lighting and parade will be on Saturday, December 7. The parade will begin at approximately 6 p.m.
The following streets will be closed for the parade beginning at approximately 5:30 p.m. until the end of the parade reaches Lakefront Drive: West Park Drive, East Park Drive, Button Street, King Street, and Lakefront Drive. Main Street, the north side of Lobo Lane (inside Little Elm Park), and Eldorado Parkway will also be affected.
Lakeshore Drive will also be closed.
Meadowbend Trail will also be closed beginning at 5:30 p.m. until the parade leaves the Little Elm Recreation Center.
Parking lots at businesses located on the north side of Eldorado Parkway in the parade zone will be shut down during the parade, and cars will not be able to enter or exit.
The parking lot at Hula Hut will also be closed during the parade for a parade parking lot party. Several Lakefront businesses are planning parade events - check with your favorites for details!
We hope you step out to watch the parade and join us at the tree lighting in Little Elm Park. The tree lighting will begin soon after the parade ends.
To ensure the safety of the public and pedestrians, the Police Department advises those walking to the parade from the south side of Eldorado to cross at Lobo Lane only. Additionally, we advise that parade attendees stay back from the roadway along the parade route.
