At approximately 10 p.m. on Sunday, November 24, officers from the Little Elm Police Department responded to a call of a stabbing on Palmera Drive in the Valencia subdivision in Little Elm.
The initial report to responding officers was that a male victim had been stabbed by a panhandler in the arm when he stopped his vehicle at a stop sign in the neighborhood.
Detectives from the department investigated the case overnight through the afternoon of Monday, November 25, finding no suspect or motive for the stabbing.
On Monday afternoon, the victims contacted LEPD detectives, declining to pursue a criminal complaint.
The case is believed to be family-oriented and not perpetrated by an unknown actor. There was no threat to the safety of the residents of the Valencia neighborhood at any time.
