LITTLE ELM, TX (March 26, 2020). At approximately 7:20 a.m. this morning, first-responders from the Little Elm Police Department, Little Elm Fire Department, and the Prosper Fire Department responded to the call of a serious vehicle accident just west of Doe Creek Road along eastbound U.S. 380.
The accident was caused when one driver traveling in the westbound lane of U.S. 380 crossed over into the eastbound lane, hitting it another vehicle head-on.
The driver of the vehicle heading eastbound sustained minor injuries.
The driver of the westbound vehicle, a 46-year-old-female resident of Frisco, was transported via helicopter to a Denton-area hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
This accident is currently under investigation by the Little Elm Police Department’s Advanced Accident Investigation Team.
