Instead of our traditional Christmas Parade, where floats move down Main Street to Eldorado Parkway and spectators gather on sidewalks, the Town of Little Elm has changed the event to be a drive-by parade!
The drive-by event is from 6–7 p.m., with the Tree Lighting beginning promptly at 7 p.m.
You can view the parade floats in the overflow parking lot of Little Elm Park. You can drive in, wave, drive out, or park and stay for our Christmas Tree Lighting and Fireworks show.
While you're at the park, you can walk through the Magic of Lights holiday lights show. This night will be the only night that you can walk through the Magic of Lights event and enter the park at no cost.
When you walk through the Magic of Lights, we ask that you stay on the roadway inside the park for your safety as you tour the fantastic light displays.
We recommend that you follow the following safety protocols if attending the event:
- Maintain a distance of six feet when possible between you and others outside of your household.
- Wear a mask if you cannot maintain a distance of six feet between you and others outside your household.
- Stay home if you are sick.
If you're choosing to watch the Tree Lighting from your vehicle, tune your radio to 91.9 for event music.
If you opt to stay home, you can watch the live stream of the Tree Lighting and fireworks show on our Town Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/TownofLittleElm.
After the event, we'll post a video online on our YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUTeecSbIuSrwM1qd7IbXiQ.
