Officers Respond to Emergency Call at Splash Pad

At approximately 7:14 p.m. on August 13, responders from the Little Elm Police Department and the Little Elm Fire Department responded to an emergency call at the McCord Splash Pad at 1001 Witt Road in Little Elm. 

Upon arrival, responders found a 3-year-old child unresponsive and without a pulse. Responders immediately began to implement lifesaving measures, including CPR. The child was transported to an area hospital, and subsequently, passed away.

Officials are continuing to investigate this situation and determine the cause of death in this incident.
