The Little Elm Fire Department is excited to announce that new Assistant Fire Chief, Jeromy Porter, has joined its ranks. Porter most recently served as Deputy Chief with the Frisco Fire Department (2014-2023) and is a 27-year fire service veteran.
Before serving in Frisco, Porter also served as Deputy Chief with Lake Cities Fire Department, spent the majority of his fire service career with LCFD and climbed the ranks within the organization during his tenure from 1996 to 2023, as well as part-time Division Chief with Argyle Fire Department from 1998-2009.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Fire Science from Columbia Southern University, an Associate in Fire Administration from Weatherford College, an Associate in Paramedicine from North Central Texas College, and multiple certifications in fire service and emergency medicine.
Chief Porter is married to his wife, Crystal, and has two children, Bryson & Jailyn. He enjoys bass fishing, golf, and cruising with his wife on Royal Caribbean cruises.
