Proclamation Request Form

  1. Proclamations are often requested to commemorate or publicize upcoming events.  Requests for proclamations must be made at least one month in advance using our Proclamation Request Form. All proclamations must be approved by the Mayor.  Due to the number of requests we receive, we are unable to accommodate all proclamation requests.

    • All proclamation requests must be submitted to the Town Secretary via this form only.
    • The Town reserves the right to deny any request for any proclamation and all proclamations must be approved  by the Mayor.
    • Any requests for a proclamation to be read at a Town Council meeting must be made at least one month in  advance of the meeting due to agenda publication deadlines.
    • If the request is approved, the Town Secretary (or other staff) will be in contact with you regarding scheduling times and locations.
